Wellbeing At CIS

Student well-being is an integral part of life at CIS. It profoundly impacts students' overall development, academic achievement, and long-term success.

Prioritizing student well-being creates a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.

When student well-being is prioritized, students feel emotionally and physically supported to take risks, explore new ideas, and actively participate in their learning.

Positive enforcement and support of student well-being nurtures the development of crucial life skills, such as empathy, communication, problem-solving, and self-care. These skills are essential for students to thrive academically, build healthy relationships, and navigate challenges in their personal and professional lives.

At CIS all stakeholders are working collaboratively to drive our pillars of wellbeing through the school community.

  • Safety and Security: Feeling safe at school, both physically and emotionally, is the cornerstone of student wellbeing.
  • Healthy Body: Eating nutritious food, getting enough exercise, and sufficient sleep are crucial for their physical and mental health.
  • Happy Mind: Emotional well-being is essential. Understanding and expressing feelings helps students cope with stress and build resilience to face challenges.
  • Friends and Connections: Make friends and build positive relationships with their peers and teachers developed a feeling of belonging support.
  • Finding Purpose: Discover their interests and passions. Engagement in their learning and activities boosts motivation and happiness.
  • Balance: Understand the importance of managing time wisely. A balanced schedule that includes time for studies, hobbies, and relaxation is crucial for well-being.

By understanding and supporting these key elements, we can all contribute to your child's overall well-being and success in school and life. Regular communication and support are essential for all of us, but especially our children.
